StorylineTill Agaton Sax stora frvning anlnder de bda storfrbrytarna Octopus P. Scott och Julius Mosca till Bykping och kommer till honom fr att be om hjlp mot Scotland Yard. De utger sig fr att vara oskyldiga dubbelgngare till storfrbrytarna. Dessa frbrytares plan r att kidnappa Agaton Sax. I Bykping har det byggts ett nytt, stort hghus. Det ska invigas med en stor middag till vilken de viktigaste personerna i Bykping r inbjudna (Agaton Sax var naturligtvis bjuden). D har skurkarna tnkt sl till. (I filmen hlls festen i borgen Bykpingshus; jmfr Nykpingshus.) Fr att krngla till det nnu mer kommer de riktiga dubbelgngarna, Absalom Nick och Charlie MacSnuff, till Bykping. Dit anlnder ocks Lispington som griper alla som liknar en frbrytare.
